Every UMC employee is required to adhere the following policies and procedures:

 

Pre-Employment Physical

Drug test

Pulmonary function test

Hepatitis B inoculation

 

Drug Testing

Random drug testing is performed on a minimum of 50% of our employees per year.

 

Alcohol Testing

Random alcohol testing is performed on a minimum of 25% of our employees per year.

 

Safety Meetings

Weekly general safety meetings are mandatory for all employees

 

Hazwoper Training

Supervisory personnel are required to obtain 40 hours of Hazwoper training.

 

CPR/First Aid

All full-time employees are CPR and First Aid trained and certified by the American Red Cross.

 

CDL

Employees who operate the appropriate vehicles have a CDL drivers license.

 

Other Training includes:

Confined Space

Haz/Com (Hazardous Communications)

MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet)

Blood Born Pathogens

Lockout/Tagout procedures

Respiratory protection
